Morris Hill Students enjoy AR Party

Students at Morris Hill work hard each quarter to meet their Accelerated Reader goal.  They work with their classroom teacher to determine a “just right” book level, and how many points they want to try to earn.  Students then read books and took quizzes on each story, with a goal of 85%  or higher comprehension.  At the end of the quarter, students who met their point and comprehension goal attended the AR Party.  This quarter, our theme was a Celebration of Dr. Seuss.  Students played Musical Hats, Cat in the Hat ping pong ball toss, Sneetch Tag, Bug Bug Moose, they created their own Dr. Seuss hat, and listened to Dr. Seuss stories while enjoying a snack.
